Wake Forest MBA Students Team Up with JA Worldwide

When Alan Kelly, retired president of ExxonMobil Fuels, Lubricants, and Specialities Marketing, started teaching in the Wake Forest Executive MBA program, he wanted to offer students real-world experiences. As a member of JA Worldwide Board of Governors, he approached the JA senior-leadership team to about having students develop marketing ideas for the organization.
Three months later, nine teams of MBA students presented their recommendations to JA on improving brand visibility and reach, modernizing the brand, harmonizing brand standards, leveraging the nonprofit’s upcoming centennial, and mobilizing the organization’s alumni network.
