Last Friday, our CEO Asheesh Advani filmed Office Hours with JA University Chief Chancellor and entrepreneur David Meltzer. JA University delivers valuable personal and professional wisdom from well-respected and globally renowned authors, speakers, and coaches—like David (who is also a JA alum)! On Office Hours, David sits down with entrepreneurs in business, sports, and entertainment to talk about success, failure, and everything in between.
In 2021, Asheesh won the inaugural Tony Hsieh Award for leadership on behalf of JA Worldwide. In 2022, JA Worldwide was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for the first time in our history. David invited Asheesh to talk about both the award and the nomination on Office Hours (watch the full episode here and check out some behind-the-scenes shots of David and Asheesh filming the show below).
Yesterday, we also celebrated the return of JA Live on our Instagram page. Each week for the next few weeks, David checks in with JA’s Sarah Rapp on Instagram to introduce us to one winner of the JA Impact Award from his pitch show 2 Minute Drill.
The JA Impact Award is given on each episode of 2 Minute Drill to the business with the greatest social impact. This week, Sarah spoke to Danielle Hodge, founder of Alma Ocean, which sells products for water lovers, from towels to tees to home decor.
