Are You Our Next Gather Reporter?
Hey, alumni! Volunteering has been shown to be an effective way to build your CV, giving you proven experience in a way that may not be possible in your current school and job.
We have a great opportunity for you to expand and develop your social media, communications, event management, and community building skills; interact with and learn from successful entrepreneurs around the world; work with a diverse team of alumni from around the world and become a leader in the global alumni movement; earn an official certificate of participation from JA Worldwide; and show your affiliation on LinkedIn and on your CV.
We are looking for JA alumni volunteers to gain skills and exposure by serving as Gather Reporters for 2022/2023. Are you looking for the opportunity to become a global alumni leader, international storyteller who interviews inspiring individuals, records videos, and produces content for the JA Worldwide social-media channels and Gather?
The voluntary Gather Reporter term starts on June 1, 2022 and ends on May 31, 2023. The time commitment is 10 hours per month.
Are you . . . ?
A self-starter, excited to learn new skills, and love to connect with people
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Willing to speak in front of the camera, interview alumni, and represent JA Worldwide as a global voice
Able to commit to 10 hours per month and join the biweekly Gather Reporter meetups
*The Gather Reporter role is a voluntary internship.

Timeline and selection process
The application (below) is open and must be submitted by May 8, 2022, by 11:59:59pmET. JA Worldwide will select four to eight Gather Reporters; additional interviews with or submissions by candidates may be required. Official rules for the Gather Report Contest are here.
