Crafted by our Technology and Education teams, Day 3 of GLC Virtual featured panels on Best Practices to Develop Learning Experiences and Mental Well-Being: A Critical Work-Readiness Skill. JA staff learned about educational partnerships, using Power BI for data, the importance of safeguarding when it comes to launching learning experiences, and more.

Achieving Impact through Inspire-Prepare-Succeed

JA’s Inspire-Prepare-Succeed (IPS) framework is a segmentation tool for our learning experiences that provides greater visibility and transparency for the JA network. The Impact Score is a tool intended to encourage JA members to continuously reflect on the metrics that deliver higher impact. This session brought them together, helping JA staff discover how they can achieve greater impact and greater reach simultaneously.

Best Practices to Develop Learning Experiences

This session focused on crafting impactful learning experiences using the IPS framework. Attendees explored JA creates high-quality learning experiences through examples from across our global network. They discovered how to leverage the five Cs of Learning Design to enhance student engagement and learning. Whether in-house or with external partners, this session emphasized the critical aspect of thinking ahead.

Leveraging Your Data Using Power BI

Guided by experts, this session explored the amazing potential of PowerBI, what it can do for JA locations, and how they can get started.

Mental Wellbeing: A Critical Work-Readiness Skill

JA staff from Canada, South Africa, JA Worldwdie, and the Z Zurich Foundation held an insightful panel discussion about integrating mental wellbeing skills into JA learning experiences. Attendees discovered how these skills act as a boundless force, preparing young minds not only for their careers but also for a fulfilling life ahead.

Examples of Powerful Educational Partnerships

Establishing strong partnerships is one of the best ways to address our capability gaps. This session provided examples of how JA has taken great advantage of others’ strengths to acquire new content, improve student engagement, and increase reach and impact.

Discovering the Learning Management System (LMS) Package

This session introduced attendees to JA Worldwide’s LMS Package, a comprehensive and customizable solution for online learning needs built on the Moodle platform. The team also debuted add-ons, including software options and features that enhance functionality and seamless integration with the JA I.D. single sign-on solution. The JA Worldwide LMS Package provides members with software, training, support, assistance, and guidance in implementation and management.

The Importance of Safeguarding in Learning Experience Development

Safeguarding is one of the most important tenets of our work at JA. This session explored how to ensure safeguarding is included in learning experience design and deployment. 

The “IRD” Process Unveiled: Boundless Innovation, Research, and Design

This session introduced the brand-new Innovation, Research, and Design (IRD) comprehensive review process for newly developed learning experiences. IRD aims to enhance transparency and ensure that learning experiences align with Inspire-Prepare-Succeed.
