Jack Harris, CEO, Junior Achievement USA, and President & CEO, 3DE Schools
Jack Harris is the Chief Executive Officer of Junior Achievement USA and President & Chief Executive Officer of 3DE Schools.
Junior Achievement USA is the nation's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. In his role as CEO of Junior Achievement USA, Harris is responsible for the strategic direction and effectiveness of a national organization that reaches more than 4.4 million young people and adults a year through more than 100 operational locations across the country.
3DE Schools was founded in 2019 as a wholly owned subsidiary of JA USA, focused on systemically reengineering high school education to significantly expand economic opportunity for all students. Through integrated public-private partnerships, 3DE uses case methodology to redesign learning and create academic environments that are more relevant, experiential, and authentically connected to life beyond the classroom walls.
3DE was originally developed and incubated within Junior Achievement of Georgia, where Harris was President & CEO for 10 years, after initially joining the JA Worldwide organization as the Director of International Operations in 2002. Harris recently led the $55 million effort to expand the initial 3DE pilot to 55 schools with a focus on many of the largest school districts in the country. With the Expanded Pilot now successfully completed, 3DE is readying for scale to 350 schools by 2031.
Jack holds a degree in Politics and a certificate in Political Economy from Princeton University and spent parts of his early career in both education and business. He lives in Atlanta with his wife Laura and their four children.
