Tweeps Host JA Alums for Second Twitter Job-Shadow Day

As part of #TwitterForGood Day, Twitter employees—or Tweeps—around the world met with JA alumni from all 39 nations for the second Twitter Job-Shadow Day. Seventy-five pairs of professionals and alums connected virtually on May 20 and 21, depending on time zone, to discuss life at Twitter; how to launch a career in a tech or social media company; what the future holds in terms of careers, economy, and technology during the pandemic; and more.
Twitter’s Sr. Events Coordinator Oladotun Idowu and JA Worlwide’s Senior Manager, Alumni & Campaigns, Sarah Rapp also hosted a Gather Talk for for participants with speakers Emmanuel Lubanzadio, Head of Public Policy for Sub-Saharan Africa at Twitter, Diana Macias, Sr. Manager of Software Engineering at Twitter, Marium Qureshi, Inclusion & Diversity Program Manager and Lead for Twitter Faith, and Mireia Codina Mediation Partner for MoPub.
