#TwitterForGood is Great for JA Students and Alumni
October 16, 2020
As part of #TwitterForGood, Twitter employees—or Tweeps—participated in a job-shadow day with JA students and alumni today. Each JA student or alumnus was paired with a Twitter employee and shadowed them for part of the workday. Some JA participants also worked in groups. In total, 74 Tweeps worked with 77 JA students/alumni. Check out some of the awesome feedback below!
“Thank you again so much for helping make today possible! I had a fantastic experience speaking with Oliver from Twitter and learned a lot about what it is like to work as a UX Researcher! The #GatherCareer Talk was also super insightful to hear from both Mike and Maisha about recruitment and the ways in which Twitter has had to adapt during the pandemic.”
“It was great! Thank you so much for this experience. I will always remember the things I learned today. It was an enlightening experience and one of the best programs I’ve been to.”
“It really was brilliant!”
“It was great! Thank you JA for the opportunity.”
In addition to the virtual job-shadow opportunities, JA hosted a Gather Talk with two top Tweeps on Friday.
