November 25, 2024
We’re proud to announce that our CEO Asheesh Advani has been named to the inaugural Leaders50 list by Thinkers50, the global authority on management thinking. Leaders50 includes some of the most influential names in business and the nonprofit world, including Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft; Leena Nair, CEO of Chanel; Julie Sweet, CEO of Accenture; Shelley Zalis, founder and CEO of the Female Quotient; and Melanie Perkins, co-founder and CEO of Canva (and Global Business Hall of Fame Laureate). The prestigious list of 50 includes leaders from 20 countries.
Leaders50 provides a bridge between thinkers and practitioners. It aims to ignite a global conversation about what twenty-first-century leadership can and should be. It celebrates and enables a better understanding of the inspiring leadership practices and philosophies of leaders who are making a positive impact in the world. Through this, Leaders50 contributes to the development of the next generation of leaders worldwide and to the impact of great leadership.
Thinkers50 co-founder Stuart Crainer remarked, “The challenges facing the world, organizations, and individuals are enormous. We do not know all of the elements which will be necessary to begin to tackle these challenges. But, we do know that none will be overcome without leadership. Leaders50 shines a light on some exceptional leaders in the hope that others may learn from them, be inspired by them, and take on the mantle of leadership.”
Julie Carrier, CEO of Girls Lead Worldwide, who served as the keynote speaker for JA Worldwide’s Global Leadership Conference in 2019, shared, “Through his global vision, care, and brilliant strategic thinking, Asheesh and his team have mobilized over 470,000 volunteers in over 100 countries to reach 15 million students worldwide through their in-school and after-school entrepreneurship and life-skills development programs.”
