IAAPA Foundation and JA Worldwide Launch Partnership

Today, the first day of Global Entrepreneurship Week, we officially launched our partnership with the IAAPA Foundation, which is supported by members of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. By combining the appeal of parks and attractions with the turnkey work-readiness and entrepreneurship curriculum of JA, we believe we can create an additional opportunity to inspire and prepare young people to be work ready, career-minded, engaged global citizens.

Speakers included our CEO, Asheesh Advani, and JA students were there to celebrate. Our Senior Director of Development and Corporate Relationships, Carolyn Bassett, posed with IAAPA representatives—and minions!

To kick off the alliance, the IAAPA Foundation and JA of Central Florida will collaborate Thursday on a job-shadow experience. Thirty JA students will study the attractions industry, meet with attractions executives, and have an opportunity to explore the world’s largest attractions industry conference and trade show, happening now in Orlando.
