Gowri Ishwaran
Gowri Ishwaran, recipient of the coveted Padmashri Award from the government of India in 2004, is an innovative educator with over 30 years of experience in leading schools of India. With a clear vision of the type of educational experience and nurturing that children deserve, she has brought a paradigm shift in how education needs to be imparted to young children. She has been the Founder Principal of Sanskriti School, New Delhi, which has become a leading school in India in a short span of ten years.
Gowri is currently CEO of The Global Education and Leadership Foundation (tGELF), where the mission is to mentor and nurture young people to evolve into ethical leaders of tomorrow, and be the changemakers the world so desperately needs. Her focus is on educating each student to be a lifelong learner and to grow into a caring, sensitive, responsible citizen of the world.
