MANPOWER’S PRISING ELECTED JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT USA CHAIRMAN
Innovative young entrepreneurs excel at business and social responsibility.

— The Junior Achievement USA board of directors
today announced it has elected Jonas Prising, president – Americas of
Milwaukee-based Manpower, as its Chairman effective July 1 for a two-year term.
Junior Achievement empowers young people to own their future economic success
via programs focusing on work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial
literacy. Prising will work with Junior Achievement USA president and chief
executive officer Jack Kosakowski and the Junior Achievement USA board to
implement a number of strategic initiatives, including a Digital Program
Strategy, which will seek to apply technology as a teaching and learning
resource to make JA experiences more
relevant, responsive, and innovative.

preparing young people to succeed in a global economy”, said Prising. “Junior

Kosakowski added, “Jonas’ strong leadership and demonstrated success in the
business world will help define Junior Achievement’s strategic course over the

Prising has been with Manpower since 1999; in his current role, he oversees all
aspects of Manpower’s US $4.1 billion business in North, Central and
South America. Before joining Manpower, Prising worked for 10 years
for the Swedish multinational Electrolux. He holds a master’s in business
administration from the Stockholm School of Economics, and is fluent in five
languages. Prising and his family reside in the
Milwaukee
area.
